DoubtFree ("the App," "we," "our") is designed with your privacy as a foundational principle, not an afterthought. This policy explains, in plain terms, exactly what happens with your information when you use the App.
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your personal information or journal content.
All entries you create in DoubtFree — including text, tags, and timestamps — are stored exclusively on your device, using Apple's local storage frameworks. This data:
DoubtFree does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data-collection software development kits (SDKs). We do not use services such as Google Analytics, Facebook SDKs, or advertising networks of any kind.
Because we do not collect any data, we have nothing to share, sell, rent, or disclose to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party. There is no data transfer to us, so there is nothing for us to misuse, leak, or monetize.
Your entries are stored locally on your device using standard iOS data storage mechanisms. The security of this data is governed by your device's own security features (such as passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID protections). We encourage you to keep your device's operating system and security settings up to date.
If you delete the App from your device, all associated data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered by us, as we never had a copy.
DoubtFree does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no data from any user, this protection applies universally regardless of age.
